Around the middle of the 1990s, she began performing professionally and dancing with The Boulder Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. After that, she relocated to Minnesota where she was a cast member in Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentary about beauty contests. When she moved to Los Angeles, she pursued an acting career following her debut film in which she played a dizzy and pleasant contestant.
