Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her roles as a lead actress in many television series as well as her outstanding performances on film. She's popular in both Canadian as well as American television. Emily started acting when she was 12 after visiting her older sister Katie on one of Katie's movies. After realizing her passion in acting, she began taking classes in acting and going to auditions. She started out with a small amount of advertisements and then was cast in Are You Are You Afraid of The Dark, a Canadian horror film for children. The show had one episode where she was unable to talk. Her first break came around the age of 15 when she got a role on the WB's Glory Days as a regular. Emily's performance caught the eye of Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then invited her to his TV show Everwood. Emily was also an artist and ballerina, was praised by Teen magazine as one the most talented actresses under the age of 20. The Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 listed Emily as 51.
