Ashley Darby is an American TV personality and performer. The singer gained fame after being named Miss District of Columbia in 2011, and is the main character on The Real Housewives of Potomac since the show's inception beginning in January of 2016. Ashley Darby is an entrepreneur who is passionate about hospitality philanthropy and holistic health. As a Maryland native with a spicy personality, Ashley has been instilled with tenacity and an unmatched drive to succeed. Ashley was the oldest of her children and her mother's only child, grew up working multiple jobs in order to provide for her siblings. She was just 18 when Ashley was enrolled in the University of Maryland while bartending as a side hustle. This enabled her to maintain financial stability for both herself and family. Ashley who worked as a bartender at the time, got noticed by the Miss District of Columbia Pageant. She won in 2011! Ashley was met by Michael Darby, an Australian millionaire with a real estate portfolio who's age is 29 years old than her. There was excitement, and Ashley was taken into a world that she never knew existed. Ashley and Michael were married and became the proud parents of Dean Michael in 2019 and Dylan Matthew in 2021. While the two shared 8 years together, they officially divorced in 2022. Ashley is qualified as a yoga instructor. She believes that inner peace is crucial, but so is outer physicality. Ashley, despite having the most enjoyable time and still trying to balance the love of her family and business. Ashley has worked as a TV personality. Her first job was working as a bartender to feed her family. Yet her love for style and entertainment has been evident even when she was just a little girl. Furthermore, she decided to put all their effort and determination into the pageant contest. In 2011, she won the Miss District of Columbia title in 2011 as well. In the following year, she was a part of Miss America, but she didn't win the title. But, she was able to get an award. She was awarded a $5,000 scholarship along with the John Curran Award Non-Finalist Interview.
